Similar to Storm Claudia hit the north-west the night before, Manchester City blew United away at the their home ground. It was a statement 3-0 triumph for Andrée Jeglertz’s side thanks to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a result that clearly signaled their title credentials as they strengthened their place at the league summit.

Back-to-Back Losses for Manchester United

This result represented back-to-back league setbacks for the United manager's side for the maiden instance since May 2024, leaving them a significant margin off the top team with their title hopes severely dented.

Lineup Adjustments

Goals Galore
